Easter

Easter is coming!

Every year I'm sadden to read the story of how they tortured my Dear Savior...how I wish I could of been there to save Him!!!
But if I was there to save Him, he wouldn't be here to save us!

The joy of knowing He rose from the grave for you and me, is so overwhelming!!! Some go to church on Easter, and it's just like any other Sunday...for me, when I go to church on Easter...I have to hold back the tears!
I hope you all take the time to reflect on the true meaning of Easter this year.

I also took some time this morning to bake an Easter cake! We might have to dig into it before Easter! LOL...enjoy! Yes, those are real sticks, don't worry we won't eat them!!! :)

A simple, yet wonderful reminder of God's great love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us! A beautiful lesson for your children, Naomi! Cora

I forgot to add, that Jonah wanted to put a little Jesus on it, and then take him off after 3 days!!!

Naomi...
Beautiful Easter post, and a beautiful cake, but nothing beats the beautiful love of Jesus that your little Jonah has in his heart...

Thank you for sharing such a wonderful post with us.

I hope you and your family have a very blessed Easter.

Love, *Linda*

How wonderfully creative, Naomi! Your cake is such another great way to involve our children in the Resurrection Celebration. I may do the same thing with Colton. Thank you for sharing your idea.

Be blessed, Lea

Beautiful cake Naomi, and I love little Jonah's idea. He understands that Easter is more than his Easter Basket which is fabulous!

May you and your family have a joyous Easter Sunday!
